Territory Sales Representative - Alberta & BC

	Responsibilities:
	
		- Achieve sales profitability and growth by maintaining relationships with our clients by effectively selling our products.
 
		- Contact and secure new and existing accounts.
 
		- Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
 
		- Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
 
		- Participate in trade shows.
 
		- Analyze the territory/market’s potential for new & existing business.
 
		- Supply management with oral &/or written reports on customer needs, interests, competitive activities, potential for new products &/or new clients.
 
	
	Qualifications:
	
		- 5+ year’s sales experience (specifically with garden centers) with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
 
		- Excellent communication skills including written and verbal with the ability to persuade, listen, and provide customer service.
 
		- Embodies strong traits such as decision-making, problem solving and possessing good judgement.
 
		- Ability to project a calm and professional demeanor.
 
		- Exceptional organizational skills.
 
		- Industry knowledge preferred but not mandatory, garden center sales experience is a must.
 
		- Adept at time management and able to work with deadlines.
 
		- Ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.
 
		- Trustworthy, honest, respectful and flexible.
 
		- Proficient computer skills working with various office equipment, computers and various programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
 
		- Valid driver’s license.
